Youth from around the capital region are participating in Careers in Public Service Days this November. These events are organized by local and state government agencies and K-12 and community college partners through the Innovative Pathways to Public Service Collaborative and with the support of the AT&T Foundation.
More than 300 students are learning about careers in utilities, information technology, water, finance, libraries, probation, healthcare, child development and more as part of an effort to showcase the diverse opportunities within the public sector.
Highlights from the events at California Air Resources Board, Placer County, American River College, City of Sacramento, SMUD and more are included in this gallery. More to come! To learn more about the event series, see this update.
